I used aWeber to create the signup form, which collects subscriber names and email addresses, and got the promo codes from Audible. The promo codes are for readers who are willing to write a review in exchange for a free copy, though anyone can use them until they run out.

The landing page is where all of the online advertisements and promotions point to. It’s a place I control, so that I can update the details in one place, if anything about the publication changes, without affecting any of the promotions that point to it.

My book covers all the hardest parts of getting a professional-looking book to digital publication. If you want to dress up your essay and make it look great on Amazon, this book will guide you. The price is already set at $9.99.

The hard part is over once you’re ready to submit to Amazon. In the book, I leave the Amazon instructions to Amazon, since they’re easy and may change from one week to the next. That said, setting the price is just one of the short list of steps once your book is ready for prime time. Once it is, I could easily lay out the Amazon-specific steps for you but it would be much easier to just sign in to https://kdp.amazon.com and let them walk you through it.

If all you have now is a Word document then you would need to follow the book to get it converted, polished and ready. If your essay is not yet in Word, that’s something you can do before the book goes live.

The book should be coming out this week.
